BIGHORN RESPITE
The Bighorn Respite is several events in eastern Montana with a Bighorn Battlefield tour as the capstone event. This is and excellent event for military, western and Native American history enthusiasts. This is a personal tour of the Little Bighorn Battlefield led by native historical interpretive guide and storyteller Olivia Rose Williamson. There is also a demonstration of the weapons of the period by Battle of the Little Bighorn reenactment participant Keith Herrin.
THE ACTIVITIES
In addition to the Little Bighorn battlefield tour and weapons demonstration, there are several other events in the Billings area including a tailgate at the Billings Mustangs park followed by watching the game. There are also excursions to Bighorn Canyon/Yellowtail dam, Beartooth Pass and a Trail ride with a cook out and live music with Elk River Outfitters.
